How to Determine the Approximate Age of My Old Singer

Concerning information on the age of your machine, the Singer Co. no longer supports information on dating their sewing machines. This decision, most likely, was made because they cannot guarantee dating accuracy.

Please see the charts we have assembled on this link "Machine Dating". This is the only information we presently have to help you determine an approximate date of your machine. Please note: Singer was informed us the approximate allotted date for a group of serial numbers can be as much as 6 to 12 months off from its actual manufacturing date, therefore no exact date can be given.
